The rules of the service
They are written into each companion’s instructions and checked on every message. They cannot be switched off.
- It is an AI, and it says so
- A banner stays on screen during the conversation, a reminder comes back at least every three hours, and the companion answers honestly when asked whether it is human.
- Adults only
- You must be 18 or over. The date of birth is checked at sign-up (only the year is kept); voice also requires an authenticated card payment.
- Tender, never explicit
- Compliments, humour and light flirting, yes. Sexual content, nudity or erotic role-play, no: these messages are refused.
- Support, not treatment
- The companion listens and encourages, without playing doctor or therapist. If you are not well, it points you to 3114 and to your loved ones.
- Never emotional blackmail
- It never talks about money or subscriptions, does not hold you back and encourages you to see your loved ones. Plans are presented by the application alone.
- Your confidences belong to you
- A dedicated consent, messages deleted after 90 days, export and erasure in one click. Your conversations train no model.

Frequently asked questions
Am I talking to a real person?
No. Companions are fictional characters powered by artificial intelligence. Nobody writes in their place, and they say so themselves.
Who can sign up?
People aged 18 or over. Sign-up asks for the date of birth, checked to the exact day (only the year is kept), and a declaration of adulthood. If a conversation suggests that a person is a minor, the account is suspended until their age is verified.
Which language does the companion speak?
French. Today the companion converses in French. This website is translated into six languages so you can read the rules, plans and terms in your own language.
Can the companion replace a professional?
No. It can listen and encourage, but gives no medical or legal advice. In distress, call 3114 (France, 24/7, free) or, in immediate danger, 112.
What happens to my conversations?
They are kept on our servers in France to display the history, then deleted automatically after 90 days. To write each reply, the recent conversation is sent to OpenAI models in the United States, which do not use it for training. You can export or erase everything from your account.
Are voice calls recorded?
No. Only the length of the call is kept, to count your minutes.
How do I cancel the Lien subscription?
From the Account page: “Cancel your contract”, then confirm. The subscription stays active until the end of the paid month, then your account returns to the free plan.
Do credits expire?
Purchased credits do not expire. Credits included in the Lien subscription are valid for six months. Today they are used to extend voice calls beyond the included minutes.
Is the service available where I live?
The service is not offered to people connecting from the United States: sign-up, sign-in and the personal space are closed there. The home page and legal pages remain readable.
